Terms of Service

Tuffr · Last updated: 2026-11-06

These terms set the rules for using the Tuffr iPhone app. By using the app you accept them. How personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Provider and description of the service

The service is provided by PPIT Przemysław Paczoski, registered at Rozłogi 16/50, 01-310 Warszawa, NIP (tax ID): 5223269629, CEIDG (the “Provider”).

Tuffr collects training and health data from the sources you connect (Apple Health and external services), shows it in one place next to a comparison with your own usual range, lets you plan training, keep a strength log, track races and share results, and offers an AI coach that prepares plan proposals.

2. Eligibility and account

You may use the app if you are at least 18 and have full legal capacity. The app runs on iPhone.

You create an account by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for access to your account with those services and for what happens on your Tuffr account. The account is personal and must not be shared. You can delete it at any time in the app (Settings, Delete account).

3. Price, Premium and subscriptions

The basic version of the app is free. Some features are part of the paid Premium subscription. Before you buy, the app shows what Premium includes, its price and the billing period. External services you connect (for example device vendors) may be paid, on their own terms.

Once Premium is available in the app, you buy it through Apple’s App Store as an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Apple is the seller: it takes the payment under its own terms, and the price shown includes the taxes Apple charges. The subscription renews at the end of each period unless you turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your Apple ID subscription settings. Premium then stays active until the end of the paid period.

If the app offers a free trial, it shows the trial’s length before you start it. When the trial ends, the paid subscription starts, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Refunds and withdrawal from a purchase are handled by Apple as the seller (reportaproblem.apple.com). In the European Union, Apple gives consumers 14 days to withdraw from a purchase under its terms.

If you are a consumer, you may also withdraw from the agreement with us within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason, by deleting your account or writing to przemek@23stud.io. The free version costs nothing, so withdrawing costs nothing.

We may change the price of Premium. Apple tells you about a price change in advance under its rules, and where Apple’s rules or the law require it, the new price applies only after you accept it.

4. Not medical advice

Tuffr is not a medical device and is not meant to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. Metrics, comparisons with your usual range and plan proposals are informational and do not replace the advice of a doctor or coach. Measurements come from devices that can be wrong.

Training carries a risk of injury. You train at your own risk, within your abilities and health. If you have pain, an injury, an illness, are pregnant or have doubts about your health, see a doctor before training.

5. AI coach

The AI coach is a feature built on a language model. Its answers can be inaccurate, incomplete or wrong, so judge them critically. The coach prepares plan proposals that you can review, change and apply, and it never changes your plan without your approval. You are responsible for the decision to apply a proposal.

Using the coach needs a separate consent to AI processing, which you can withdraw in Settings. The Privacy Policy gives the details. We may limit the number of messages per day.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the app in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others,
  • disrupt the service, bypass its safeguards or load it excessively, including with automated requests,
  • access or try to access other users’ data,
  • enter data you have no right to, or connect accounts of external services that are not yours,
  • share your account with others or resell access to the service.

7. Third-party services and attribution

Connected services (among them Garmin, WHOOP, Strava, Withings, Oura, Polar, Wahoo, Ultrahuman, Fitbit and Google Health, Intervals.icu and Google Calendar) work on their own terms. They may change or restrict access to data, change their rules or stop working, and we are not responsible for their availability or for the data they pass on. Some sources may be unavailable or switched on gradually.

Garmin, Strava, WHOOP, Withings, Oura, Polar, Wahoo, Suunto, Ultrahuman, Fitbit, Google, Apple and other names and trademarks mentioned belong to their owners and are used only to show where data comes from. Tuffr is not affiliated with or sponsored by them unless stated otherwise. Values and share cards that come from Garmin devices carry Garmin attribution.

8. Apple and the App Store

These terms are an agreement between you and the Provider, not Apple. The Provider, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content, and for its maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.

If the app fails to conform to a warranty that applies to it by law, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. The Provider, not Apple, handles claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, claims under consumer protection or privacy law, and claims that the app or your use of it infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights.

You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo or that the US Government has designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

You use the app in line with the App Store usage rules. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its look, code, catalogue content and Tuffr marks belong to the Provider or its licensors. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own purposes under these terms.

The data you enter and data about you remain yours. You grant us a licence to the extent needed to provide the service, that is to store, display and process it in the app. You create and publish share cards of your own will.

Event and organiser names appear in the app only to identify a race you enter. HYROX® is a trademark of HYROX World GmbH; IRONMAN® and 70.3® are trademarks of World Triathlon Corporation. Tuffr is not affiliated with or endorsed by these organisers. Plans and workouts in Tuffr are not official programmes of these organisers, and you enter race results yourself.

10. Suspension and deletion

We may suspend or delete an account if you break these terms or the law, endanger the security of the service, or where the law requires it. Where possible we will state the reason and let you explain.

You may delete your account at any time. That deletes the account and its data from our database, and you can export your data first. The Privacy Policy gives the details. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store: turn off renewal in your Apple ID settings, or Apple will keep charging you.

We may change or end the service or a part of it for important reasons, such as changes in providers’ terms, security, or changes in law. We will give reasonable notice of ending the service and let you export your data.

11. Liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors, or that data from external sources will be complete and current.

Within the limits Polish law allows, we are not liable for harm resulting from training, from decisions made on the basis of metrics or AI coach proposals, from the unavailability of external services, or for lost profits. These limits do not apply to harm caused intentionally or to personal injury, and they do not exclude or limit rights you have as a consumer under mandatory provisions of law.

12. Complaints and consumer rights

Send a complaint about how the service works to przemek@23stud.io, describing the problem and giving your account e-mail. We will reply within 14 days of receiving it.

If you are a consumer, you have the rights that the law gives you, including under the Polish Consumer Rights Act as far as it applies to a digital service. You may also bring a dispute to out-of-court dispute resolution, in particular to the competent county (city) consumer ombudsman or the Voivodeship Inspectorate of Trade Inspection. Information on how to use them is on the website of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl).

13. Governing law and changes

Polish law governs the agreement, without taking away the rights a consumer has under mandatory provisions of the law of the country where they usually live. Disputes are decided by the court that is competent under the general rules.

We will tell you about a change to these terms in the app or by e-mail at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the change, you can delete your account before it takes effect.

14. Contact
